November Is About Search & Rescue: Locate The Lost

Today is the first day of our November Search & Rescue Sunday School emphasis. Our goal is to reach people who are lost for eternity – or have lost their way spiritually – and get them to our class for the Bible Study on Family Day, November 24. This week’s emphasis is:

Stage 1: Locate. We are asking everyone to identify those who are lost and acquire contact information and turn the information in on Locator Card in your Sunday School today. We will then contact them via a series of emails, giving them information about Family Day to help you as you prepare them to be your guests! The other stages are:

Stage 2: Reach. Week of November 10. Make an initial contact and invite to Veterans Day & Family Day.

Stage 3: Stabilize. Week of November 17. Take action to move them towards coming – acts of kindness.

Stage 4: Evacuate November 24. Invite them to leave their home and join us for Family Day. Have them with you in class, receiving ministry, and in church under the Gospel.

Honoring Vets Next Sunday

Next Sunday, November 10, our church family will come together to honor and celebrate the courageous men and women who selflessly served our nation through military service. During our morning worship service, we will be recognizing their sacrifice, dedication, and commitment. Following the service, we invite all veterans and their families to an appreciation dinner as a gesture of our deep gratitude. If you or a loved one have served in any branch of the military, we warmly welcome you to join us for this meaningful time of recognition and thanksgiving. Veterans may register for the meal at the Information Hub, either online or in the church lobby.

Family Day, November 24

This year’s Family Day celebration is just three weeks away, on Sunday, November 24. The Celebration Service will feature special musical guests, The Williamsons, followed by our annual Thanksgiving dinner. We are asking everyone to have someone with you on this wonderful day. The church will provide the turkey, and we are asking you to bring the balance of the meal for the day. Let’s work hard to make Family Day a life changing, eternally impactful day!

Voter Information Available

There are clear Biblical, moral choices for our country that will be made in the upcoming election. It is important for every believer to be educated about the issues before going to vote on November 5. Stop by the Info Hub for printed information. Let’s stand together for Biblical values. The lives of unborn children are at stake!

Griefshare Surviving The Holidays

For people who’ve lost a loved one, the Thanksgiving and Christmas season can be bleak. Our GriefShare Surviving the Holidays event on November 16 at 1:00p.m. offers coping tools and support for those who are grieving.

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC.
