Welcome to CSBC

What a joy it is to gather as Cherry Street Baptist Church family on this very special Family Day! Today, we’re especially excited to welcome the many guests who have joined us for this extraordinary celebration. The Lord continues to work mightily in our midst – folks are coming to Christ, families are growing deeper in their walk with the Lord, and we’re seeing new faces in our services each week. Whether you’re a first-time guest, returning visitor, or long-time member, please know that you are deeply loved and warmly welcomed here. We’re grateful that the Lord has led you to be part of this special day as we worship Him together and learn from His precious Word. Family Day Celebration

It’s here! Today is our annual Family Day celebration. The Worship service at 10:30 will feature great music from our Choir and musical guests. Following the service, we will meet in the Gillming Center for a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. There is plenty, so please stay and enjoy food and fellowship! The celebration continues after our meal as The Williamsons share more of their musical gifts in a special mini-concert. What a blessed day to worship, fellowship, and praise together as one church family!

Welcome the Williamsons

We are excited to introduce The Williamsons to our church family. This musical group’s mission statement simply says, “The Williamsons share the Gospel through music in order to see the lost come to Christ, the Christian uplifted…all for the glory of God.” Help show them a warm CSBC welcome as they minister to us today!

A Heartfelt Note of Gratitude

Family Day is possible because of the loving service of so many caring hands! Special thanks to our dedicated volunteers who prepared turkeys, served in the kitchen, set up (and will clean up after), contributed delicious dishes, and served others throughout this special day. To everyone who helped behind the scenes and during our celebration – your servant hearts and generous spirits have blessed our entire church family. We are deeply grateful for each of you!

A Special Time of Thanksgiving – Tuesday Evening

Join us this Tuesday evening, November 26, at 6:30 PM for our annual Thanksgiving Service . We’re moving our midweek gathering to Tuesday this week to allow everyone more flexibility for holiday travel and preparations.

The Joy of Christmas at CSBC

Join us on December 15 for “Love Came For Me” – a powerful musical journey reminding us that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16). That same evening at 6:00, you won’t want to miss our children’s choir bringing smiles and joy with their delightful presentation of “A Quizzical Christmas.”

The celebration continues on December 22 with a special Christmas Sunday morning service that will prepare our hearts for the coming week. That evening at 6:00 PM for A Night of Christmas Light – an unforgettable time with the Allen Family as they lead us in worship through music.

Cap off your Christmas celebration with our intimate candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 6:00 PM – a cherished tradition that helps us pause and reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth.

Each of these services provides a perfect opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and family members to hear the life-changing message that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Come make memories with us as we celebrate the greatest gift ever given – our Savior, Jesus Christ!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
