Welcome to CSBC

Like Simeon and Anna in the Temple expectantly waiting for the birth of the Christ Child, we come together two Sundays before Christmas expecting Him to meet with us today. If you are already a part of God’s forever family, I trust you came today to study His Word, hear His voice and respond to Him in obedience and worship. If you came today as one who is seeking, you are among friends! We are glad you are here, and we want you to know that the Lord Jesus loves you! He desires to forgive you of your sins and make you one of His kids as well! That can happen in your life today, if you will let Him in. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Next Sunday: Christmas Musicals!

Bring someone with you next Sunday, December 15, as our choir presents ‘Love Came For Me’ – a powerful musical celebration of the truth that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” (John 3:16). Then, join us again at 6:00 PM when our children’s choir will warm our hearts with their delightful presentation of ‘A Quizzical Christmas.’ Both services promise to fill us with the joy and wonder of this joyous season!

Christmas Sunday

In two weeks, on Christmas Sunday morning, December 22, gather with us for a Christmas Celebration with exciting music, a wonderful Christmas message of hope and joy to prepare our hearts to celebrate our Savior’s birth. The celebration continues that evening at 6:00 PM with ‘A Night of Christmas Light’ – with a lot of fun featuring the Allen Family providing Christmas music. Each of these services provides a perfect opportunity to invite friends and loved ones to hear the life-changing message that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Come make precious memories with us as we celebrate God’s perfect gift – our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Christmas Eve

On Tuesday evening, December 24, on Christmas Eve join us at 6:00 PM. Begin your family’s Christmas celebration by taking a brief time to pause and reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth. Make Christmas 2024 meaningful in your life by starting it with praise and adoration for the Savior who was born that first Christmas night!

Christmas Offering

God has blessed us with facilities that serve our congregation and community in countless ways. As we approach our Christmas season, we’re focusing on three essential projects that will help us continue our ministry for years to come. First, our children’s playground needs regrading and refurbishment to ensure safe play for our little ones. Second, our lobby HVAC system requires updating to maintain comfort for fellowship and worship. Finally, the Gillming Center roof needs repairs to protect this vital ministry space. Through God’s provision and your faithful giving, we already have $15,000 toward these projects. We’re seeking His guidance and your partnership in raising the remaining $45,000. As we celebrate Christ’s birth this season, consider how you might help preserve and improve our church home for the next generation.

Save the Postage: Christmas Card Mailbox

The Christmas Card Mailbox is set up in the north lobby (by the missions letters). If you are planning to send Christmas cards to someone in our church family, drop them in the mailbox and they will be sorted and placed into folders for people to pick up the next time they come to church.

Save the Date: Men’s Beast Feast Retreat

Coming Soon: Men’s Beast Feast Retreat, January 31 – February 1. Sign up beginning next week.
