Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to the last Sunday of 2024 at Cherry Street Baptist Church! It is fitting that we follow the celebration of the birth of Christ with the dawning of a new year, as He is the One who gives new life to those who know Him. Whether you are a guest or a regular attender, we welcome you to our services on this last Sunday of the year. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Read the Bible With Us!

If you started the Bible reading plan for 2024 on January 1 and followed it through, then you completed reading your entire Bible this past week. It has been wonderful to see so many in our church family join together to encourage one another to read the Bible through – from young people to senior adults! We want to encourage everyone to join us this year as we read God’s Word together in 2025. It is a great way to have your daily quiet time with the Lord! Our Reading Plan provides 25 daily readings each month, giving a few days to make up any that you might miss. It provides variety with passages from the Old and New Testaments each day. A printed copy of the “ The Navigators Bible Reading Plan” is available in your Sunday School class or in the lobby. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.

Birthday Gift For Jesus Offering

As of this writing, we are $8,852.60 away from reaching this year’s Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering goal of $60,000. Please pray about what you can do to help us with these important projects!

Check the Christmas Card Post Office

CSBC’s Christmas Card Post Office, located in the northeast corner of lobby by the missionary letters will be going away after next Sunday. Don’t forget to go by and check for cards.

Prime Timers Conference: January 27-28

Prime Timers mark your calendars for the How to Make the Rest of Your Years the Best of Your Years Conference with Paul Monroe. There will be sessions on Monday and Tuesday morning January 27-28 with lunch served after. More details will be available next week. Save the date!

Men’s Event

Registration is now open for the powerful “Wild Beast Feast & Life Skills Retreat” at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso! Join us January 31 – February 1, 2025, as we explore what it means to be “Forged in the Fire” with special guest speaker Dr. David Gibbs Jr. from the Christian Law Association. This event promises to strengthen and challenge you in your walk with Christ while enjoying great food and fellowship. Register today at the Information Hub on our website or visit the Info Hub in the lobby. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow stronger in your faith alongside other men!

Football Sunday Coming 2.9.25

“Football Sunday” coincides with the Super Bowl, and is an evangelistic opportunity for our church that points unapologetically toward Jesus. The media presentations display how God is working through some of the players in the big game, and using them to impact the lives of others. We will be providing invitations for you to use to invite your unchurched friends. Begin praying now for “Football Sunday 2025.”

Schedule Changed for The Week

The church offices will be closed on Wednesday, New Year’s Day. We will not have midweek service on January 1. Office hours will resume on Thursday, January 2 at 8:30 a.m.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen.
