Welcome! We are looking forward to a great Sunday at CSBC! The parking lots are clear and we can’t wait to see you! Each person who walks through our doors brings something unique and valuable to our church family – whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been part of our community for years. We believe that faith grows best in an environment of genuine welcome, honest questions, and caring relationships. As we gather this Sunday, our prayer is that you’ll feel both God’s presence and the authentic fellowship of this congregation. We’re truly grateful to share this time with you. Welcome the Laases to France

We’re delighted to welcome Jonathan and Priscilla Laase and their son, Timothy, to Cherry Street! The Laases serve as missionaries in Southern France, where they are answering God’s call to share His love in a region deeply in need of the Gospel. You may remember that our Paris Olympics missions team worked alongside them last summer. Sunday, Jonathan will share about their ministry and their hearts for reaching the French people for Jesus Christ. Please show them a warm CSBC welcome as we learn more about how God is working through them in France.

Annual Business Sunday Night

Our Annual Business Meeting, having been postponed due to weather, will now take place this Sunday evening (February 23) during our 6:00 Family Service. This important gathering is where we’ll celebrate God’s blessings on Cherry Street Baptist in 2024, approve our 2025 budget, and select new church officers. For those interested in a detailed budget discussion, we invite you to join us for a preliminary meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The earlier start time for budget review will help us keep the main Business Meeting focused and concise. Your voice and participation are vital follow God’s direction together for our church family.

The Go-To Verses of Jesus: Life’s Spiritual Anchors

Our journey through the “Go-To Verses of Jesus” series will resume next Sunday evening (March 2) at 6:00 in our Family Service. While we pause this week for our Annual Business Meeting, we look forward to continuing our exploration of the Scripture passages to discover fresh insights and practical applications for your daily walk with God. Join us next Sunday evening as we return to this inspiring series and learn together from Jesus’s own use of God’s Word.

GriefShare Begins March 6

Grief isn’t meant to be walked alone. If you’re experiencing the loss of a loved one, GriefShare provides a safe, understanding community where healing can begin. Over 13 weeks, you’ll find practical tools to support, strengthen and help you learn how to navigate this challenging journey. Ready to take this step? A new session begins Thursday, March 6 at 6 p.m.

Ladies Retreat: Save the Date, Note the Location

Ladies, join us for something fresh this spring as we gather with other churches at the beautiful Knob Hill Barn near Warrensburg, Missouri. This two-day retreat (April 11-12) promises rich fellowship, spiritual renewal, and meaningful connections. While it’s a bit longer drive than our usual Branson destination, the unique opportunity to worship and grow with a wider circle of sisters in Christ will make it special. Save these dates and watch for registration details beginning next Sunday!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.
