Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! Whether you’re a long-time member of our church family or visiting with us for the first time today, we’re truly glad you’re here. Launch Party for Easter Season!

Join us for a special four-week journey toward Easter! Our “Circles of Hope” emphasis begins with a Launch Party on Sunday evening, March 23th where we will be equipped to share hope during the weeks before Easter, beginning March 30, through Easter Sunday, April 20. Each week builds toward our Easter celebration with practical ways to invite others who need hope. From “Hope Foundations” to “Hope Renewed,” every class will become a center of hope. Save these dates and prepare to grow together this Easter season!

Another One Joins God’s Forever Family

It is always a joy when someone places their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. We never want to forget that it is an eternal decision! That is true for every believer, and it is something that we should never get over. That is why He came – and why He left us here – to share the good news of Jesus Christ. The young man who trusted Christ last Sunday brought rejoicing in Heaven. It is a cause for real celebration!

Another Reason To Celebrate!

Thanks to your Christmas offerings, we’ve completed the Gillming Center roof repair and stucco work on both buildings. We’ve also begun renovating the playground to create a better space for our children – please avoid this area until work is complete. Your support has made these improvements possible, allowing us to better fulfill our purpose of reaching, teaching, and ministering to all who visit.

GriefShare Back In Session

GriefShare provides a safe, understanding community where healing can begin through weekly sessions offering practical tools to navigate loss. The program began last week but continues for 12 more weeks with standalone sessions, so it’s never too late to join.

Ladies Retreat – Registration Now Open!

Our spring Ladies Retreat is coming April 11-12, 2024 at the beautiful Knob Hill Barn in Knob Noster, MO, just a couple of hours from Springfield. This two-day event, hosted by Bethel Baptist Church, features dinner and an evening session on Friday and a morning session Saturday. Costs vary based on the number of people in your room. Limited transportation is available. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Visit the registration table in the foyer after service or contact Emma for details. The retreat location is approximately 2 hours from church. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to connect with sisters in Christ for refreshing fellowship and spiritual growth.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving.
