Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! Each week we gather as a family of believers to celebrate God’s faithfulness and seek His guidance for our lives. Circles of Hope

Today, we begin our “Circles of Hope” emphasis, focusing on the unshakeable foundations of hope found in Christ. During your Bible Study time, you’ll receive a Hope Commitment Card to help you identify people in your circles who need the message of Christ’s resurrection hope. Take time to prayerfully list individuals God has placed in your life and consider who you might invite this Easter season. Remember, every person stands at the center of unique circles of influence that can be used for eternal purpose.

Everyone Matters – Let Them Know!

Our “You Matter” and “Be My Friend” invitation cards are powerful tools designed for meaningful connections. Adults and teens can use the “You Matter” cards to let someone know they are seen, valued, and have a place here at Cherry Street. For our children, the “Be My Friend” cards provide a simple way to extend friendship and inclusion to their peers. These cards aren’t just invitations to church—they’re tangible reminders that each person matters to God and to us. Next week, we’ll have Easter-specific invitation cards available as follow-up tools to strengthen these connections.

“Hope Begins Here” Is Our Easter Theme

As we proclaim “Hope Begins Here” throughout our community this Easter, we’re not just sharing a slogan—we’re declaring the transformative truth that authentic hope is found in Christ alone. In a world struggling with uncertainty and hopelessness, Cherry Street Baptist stands as a beacon where people can discover hope that anchors the soul. This message isn’t just for those already here; it’s for neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and friends who need to know that real, lasting hope begins with a relationship with Jesus. Let’s boldly share this message in our expanding circles, believing that God will use our invitations to bring hope to those who need it most.

“The Real Jesus” Series Continues

Join us as we continue our powerful series, “The Real Jesus,” exploring who Christ truly is as revealed in Scripture. We’ve examined His birth and life; now we turn to the cross, where Jesus’s extraordinary character shines through His seven final statements. Discover how, even in His darkest hour, Jesus continued praying, thinking of others, forgiving, and saving souls. Each message reveals another facet of our remarkable Savior and invites us to respond to His transforming love.

Ladies Retreat Two Weeks Away

Join us for our spring Ladies Retreat on April 11-12, 2025. Hosted by Bethel Baptist Church, this retreat offers the perfect opportunity to deepen your relationship with God while building meaningful connections with other women of faith. Stop by the registration table in the foyer after today’s service or contact Emma for more details. Don’t miss this chance to refresh your spirit, strengthen friendships, and grow in your faith journey alongside your sisters in Christ!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving.
