Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! Today, we gather to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. What a joy to worship together as we proclaim, “He is risen indeed!” Whether you’re a long-time member of our church family or joining us specially for Easter, we’re thankful you’ve come to celebrate this day of triumph and promise. The empty tomb changes everything, offering hope, purpose, and eternal life to all who believe. As we worship through music, Scripture, and fellowship today, may the reality of the resurrection fill your heart with renewed faith and joy. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

The Hope of Easter

The resurrection of Jesus stands as history’s greatest testament to hope. When all seemed lost at Calvary, God transformed death into life, despair into victory. Easter reminds us that no grave—whether literal or figurative—has the final word for those who trust in Christ. Whatever challenges we face today, the empty tomb assures us that God’s power overcomes all obstacles. This Easter, embrace the living hope that doesn’t merely encourage us to carry on, but fundamentally transforms how we view our present circumstances and future glory. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence and peace.

Easter Evening Lord’s Supper

There’s something especially powerful about commemorating communion on Resurrection Sunday—connecting the cross and empty tomb in worship. Join us tonight at 6:00 PM for our Family Service as we conclude our Easter celebration with the observance of the Lord’s Supper. As we partake of the bread and cup together, we’ll remember Christ’s body broken and blood shed for us, while also rejoicing in the hope His resurrection brings.

Discover Your Own “Go To Verses” Like Jesus Did.

Our Sunday evening Family Service series exploring the Old Testament passages Jesus quoted most frequently will resume next Sunday at 6 pm. While we observe Easter and the Lord’s Supper tonight, we look forward to continuing our study of how Jesus used Scripture next week. This multi-generational service includes children’s activities at the Lemonade Stand and practical applications for all ages. Join us as we discover the verses Jesus turned to and how they can become meaningful in our own lives.
