Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re thankful the Lord has brought you here today to worship with us. There’s something special about gathering together as believers to praise God, study His Word, and encourage one another in our faith journey. Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years or this is your first time visiting, we want you to feel at home and experience God’s love through our fellowship. As we worship together, our hope is that you’ll be refreshed by God’s presence and strengthened for the week ahead. Thank you for choosing to spend your Sunday with us – we’re blessed to have you here! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Welcome Evangelist Rob Watkins

We’re honored to have Rob Watkins with us today to bring God’s Word during our morning worship service. Rob brings years of evangelistic ministry experience and a heart for sharing the Gospel in creative and meaningful ways. This evening at 6:00 PM, he’ll return for our Family Service where he’ll present biblical truths through ventriloquism and illusions – a unique ministry that engages both young and old while clearly communicating Christ’s message. Whether you’re here for the first time or you’re part of our regular church family, we’re excited you’ve joined us for this special Sunday. Our prayer is that God will speak to hearts through His Word and that lives will be changed by His grace.

Hometown Heroes Adventure Camp – July 16-18

Our summer adventure is almost here! Hometown Heroes Adventure Camp will bring three days of excitement for kids from preschool through 6th grade. This “sleep at home” camp gives families the best of both worlds – all the fun of summer camp during the day, then kids return home each evening to their own beds. We’ve planned an action-packed experience featuring field trips around town, visits from real community heroes, hands-on crafts, energetic games, and non-stop fun. Parents, you’re invited to be part of the adventure too! We’re hoping every child in our church family will join us for this special summer event. If you haven’t registered yet, head to the Info Hub today – spaces are filling up fast and we don’t want anyone to miss out on what promises to be an incredible three days of learning, laughing, and making memories together!

Last Chance for Springfield Cardinal Baseball

We only have about a dozen tickets left for our church outing to the Springfield Cardinals’ game this Tuesday evening. This is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening of baseball, fellowship, and fun with your church family. If you’re interested in joining us, don’t wait – these remaining tickets will go fast! Contact the church office or see Emma today to secure your spot. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just looking for a relaxing evening out, this promises to be a wonderful time of fellowship and community. Let’s cheer on the Cardinals together!”

Parenting Class Continues This Wednesday!

It’s not too late to join “The Art of Parenting” to help you discover fresh insights for raising children at every stage, learn to build character while applying discipline with grace, and develop personalized strategies that celebrate each child’s unique personality and gifts. Whether you’re navigating toddler tantrums or teenage challenges, this class offers practical tools to nurture your children’s faith journey. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other parents this Wednesday and invest in one of your most important roles—being a godly parent!
