Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re delighted you’ve chosen to worship with us this Sunday morning. God has blessed us with another opportunity to come together as His people, and we don’t take that privilege lightly. Whether you’re a faithful member of our church family or you’re joining us for the first time, we pray that today’s service will draw you closer to the Lord. As we sing, pray, and study God’s Word together, may His Spirit fill this place and speak to each heart. We believe God has something special in store for us today, and we’re grateful you’re here to be part of it. Welcome to our church family! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Celebrating Freedom This Independence Weekend

As we gather on this Sunday near Independence Day, we’re grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, especially our liberty to worship and share the Gospel openly. While we celebrate our national independence, we’re reminded that true freedom comes only through Jesus Christ, who liberates all who trust in Him from the eternal consequences of sin. This freedom isn’t limited by borders or nationalities – Christ offers salvation to people “of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation” (Revelation 5:9). As we thank God for our country’s heritage of religious liberty, may our celebration of earthly freedom remind us of the eternal freedom found only in Jesus, and may we use our liberty to boldly proclaim His name.

Summer Sunday Nights at the Pavillion

Get ready for a fun twist on our Sunday evening Family Service! Starting July 27th, we’re moving outdoors to our pavilion for four special summer evenings of worship, fellowship, and refreshing treats. Each week will feature something cool and delicious to beat the summer heat: July 27th brings fresh watermelon, August 3rd offers snow cones, August 10th showcases summer pies, and August 17th wraps up with ice cream sundaes. These casual outdoor services provide the perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbors who might feel more comfortable in a relaxed setting. Bring your lawn chairs, enjoy the evening shade, and join us for a refreshing time. It’s going to be a wonderful way to blend fellowship, faith, and summer fun. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for all four Summer Sunday Nights at the Pavilion!

Schedule This Week

On this holiday weekend, we will not be meeting for our Family Service this evening. We will be resuming our regular office and service schedules tomorrow.
