Welcome to CSBC!

We’re so glad you’re here as we continue our “Until They Know” missions emphasis! Whether you’re part of our church family or visiting with us today, God has brought you here at just the right time. As we worship together and grow in our understanding of God’s heart for the nations, may your faith be challenged and your vision expanded for how He wants to use you. Welcome to this place where hearts are opened to God’s worldwide work! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

“Until They Know” Missions Emphasis Continues!

The momentum is building! We’re excited about spreading the excitement for our global missions emphasis through October 5. Our theme “Until They Know” reminds us that Christ’s Great Commission continues until every person has heard the Gospel. Last Sunday’s kick-off with our missionary guests was inspiring, and today we continue this special month with more amazing testimonies, challenging messages, and opportunities to see how God is working around the world. Don’t miss a single Sunday as we discover together what it means to be part of God’s global mission!

Meet Our Missionary Guests This Week

We are honored to welcome back our own Keith and Becky Gillming to CSBC. We are always blessed when they can come and Keith challenges us from God’s Word. Our missionary guest today is Karen Kolb, missionary to Guatemala since 2008. God is using Karen in remarkable ways in the churches she is blessed to serve alongside in this Central American country. On Wednesday evening, we will welcome brand new missionaries Jordan and Laura Franklin to Argentina. We are blessed to have these great servants of the Lord challenge our hearts to align with God’s heart for the lost beyond our borders.

Next Week: Missionary Guests & International Dinner

Next Sunday will be an exciting week with our speaker, our own Jon Konnerup BBFI Missions Director, and our newly approved career missionaries, the Solomons to Chile. Our International Dinner will be on Sunday evening! This special event promises great food, wonderful fellowship, and inspiring missions stories from around the globe. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to taste dishes from different cultures while hearing powerful testimonies of God’s work worldwide. Sign-ups are available in your Sunday school class or at the Info Hub. Mark your calendars and bring your appetite for both delicious food and amazing stories of faith!

CSBC Hosts Ministry Conference – Our Time To Shine!

What an incredible opportunity God has given us! Our church will be welcoming pastors and church leaders from across the Midwest and beyond for the national meeting of the Baptist Church Ministry Network on October 6-8. This year’s theme, “Looking Up, Reaching Out: Ministry in the Light of His Coming,” promises to challenge and inspire everyone who attends. This is our chance to be outstanding hosts to some of God’s choice servants who have dedicated their lives to ministry. We need volunteers willing to serve these faithful men and women (sign up at the Info Hub), and we challenge every member to make room in your schedule to hear some of the greatest preachers in this country. There will be preaching and teaching Monday through Wednesday evenings and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to sit under exceptional Bible teaching while showing Christian hospitality at its finest. A schedule of speakers will be available soon – start planning now!
