Missions Emphasis Culminates Today!

What an incredible month it has been! We’ve heard powerful testimonies from missionaries, and been challenged by outstanding speakers. Today we celebrate the culmination of our “Until They Know” emphasis with the opportunity to make Faith Promise commitments—it’s not a financial pledge, but a declaration of faith that God will provide as we partner with Him in reaching the nations. We’ve also been blessed to take on new missionaries who will carry the Gospel to unreached places. As we close this emphasis, let’s remember that missions isn’t just a monthly focus—it’s the heartbeat of our church.

Our Missionary Guests This Week

We are honored to welcome some exceptional guests who will challenge and inspire us today! Ben Jennings and Bob Butler bring years of ministry experience and hearts passionate for God’s global work. We’re also blessed to have Adam and Ayla Cottrell home with us—a young couple sent from our church to Thailand. Each of these guests has stories of God’s faithfulness, wisdom gained through years of service, and vision for what God can do through His people. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet them personally, hear their hearts for ministry, and be encouraged by their testimonies.

Trunk Or Treat – Friday, October 31

The excitement is building! We’re three-quarters of the way to our goal of decorated vehicles—if you’ve been thinking about participating, now’s the time to commit! Starting next Sunday, please bring bags of candy to help us stock up for the hundreds of children we expect. Begin praying and inviting families you know—this event is only as effective as our personal invitations. Let’s create a safe, fun environment where kids can enjoy the evening and parents can experience genuine Christian love. This could be the first step for many families in finding a church home!

Baptist Church Ministry Network Conference

What a privilege God has given us! Starting Monday, CSBC becomes home to the national Baptist Church Ministry Network Conference as pastors and ministry leaders gather from across the country. Under the theme “Looking Up, Reaching Out: Ministry in the Light of His Coming,” we’ll witness some of America’s most gifted Bible expositors challenge and encourage God’s servants. This isn’t just about hosting—it’s about serving those who give their lives to ministry every single day. We need volunteers to extend hospitality that reflects Christ’s love (sign up at the Info Hub), and we encourage every member to attend these services and drink deeply from exceptional Bible teaching happening right in our own sanctuary. Don’t let this rare opportunity pass you by—the complete speaker schedule is available at mycsbc.com and the Info Hub.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving.
