Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re grateful God has brought you here today, and we believe He has something special in store for each of us as we gather to worship and study His Word. Whether you’re a longtime part of our church family or this is your first time joining us, our prayer is that you’ll experience God’s presence in a fresh way during our time together. As we approach the fall season, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead to grow deeper in our faith and reach out to those around us who need the hope and love that only Christ can provide. Thank you for being here. Let’s worship the Lord together! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Harvest Time Festival Tonight at 5:30 PM

Join us for a special kickoff to our fall Harvest Time emphasis. We’re gathering at 5:30 PM for our Family Service with a fun twist—refreshments, games, and a special prize drawing! This mini fall festival marks the beginning of an important season where we’ll focus on faithfulness, reconnecting with one another, and reaching out to those who need to experience God’s love. Bring your family and invite a friend to be part of this exciting evening as we launch Harvest Time together!

Faith Promise Commitments Update!

Our Faith Promise commitments have now reached nearly $280,000! God is stirring hearts at Cherry Street, and we’re witnessing a beautiful spirit of generosity and mission-mindedness throughout our church family. If you haven’t yet made your Faith Promise commitment, it’s not too late! Simply pick up a commitment card from the Info Hub and return it in the offering box. Remember, a Faith Promise is a step of faith between you and God—trusting Him to provide as you commit to give toward reaching the nations with the good news of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faithfulness!

Trunk Or Treat – Friday, October 31

Praise the Lord—we’ve reached our goal of 40 vehicles, but there’s still room for more! Now we need your help in three crucial ways. First, we need candy—lots of it! We’re expecting a big crowd and want to be ready. Drop your donations in the lobby box. Second, if you’d prefer to give financially so we can purchase additional candy, that would be a huge blessing—just mark your gift for Trunk or Treat. Third, we need prayer warriors who will commit to pray before, during, and after this event. Our goal is simple but vital: reaching kids, parents, and grandparents with the Gospel during and after October 31st. This is more than a community event—it’s a way to connect families with Jesus. Let’s make this count for eternity!

Three New Wednesday Bible Studies

We’re excited to launch three fresh Bible study opportunities starting Wednesday, October 29. Whether you’re brand new in your faith or looking to strengthen your spiritual foundation, “First Steps: Foundations of the Christian Life” will help you build on solid ground. Men, join us for “Nehemiah: Standing Firm in the Face of Opposition”—a powerful study on leadership, courage, and finishing what God calls us to do. Ladies, “James: Growing Up in Christ” offers practical wisdom for spiritual maturity and putting faith into action. These Wednesday evening studies are perfect next steps for anyone wanting to go deeper in God’s Word.

2026 Missions Trips Informational Meeting Today

Join us immediately following this morning’s service in the Chapel for a brief informational meeting about three incredible opportunities in 2026. We’ll be sharing details about trips to London, Wales, and Nairobi, Kenya—each offering unique ways to serve and share the Gospel in unique areas. Whether you’ve been on mission trips before or this would be your first time, we’d love to have you hear what God might be calling you to do. The meeting will be quick, but it could be the starting point for a life-changing experience. Come learn more about how you might be part of reaching the nations!
