Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re so glad you’ve joined us for worship today. Harvest Time Begins Next Sunday, November 2!

Last Sunday’s Fall Festival was a wonderful kickoff to this exciting emphasis. For four Sundays (Nov 2, 9, 16, 23), our church family is entering a special season focused on gathering the harvest God has prepared. Jesus said, “The fields are white already to harvest” – and that’s where we are right now. We’re asking everyone to make three simple commitments: Be Faithful (attend Sunday School all four Sundays), Reach Out (adopt someone in prayer who’s been drifting and reconnect with them), and Invite (bring one person to Veterans Honor Sunday on Nov 9 or Harvest Day on Nov 23). Watch our Prayer Tree transform as commitment leaves appear for those signing up for all three commitments, and invitation apples are added as people say “yes” to your invitations to come or come back! The harvest is ready, Cherry Street – let’s gather it in together!

Two Special Sundays During Harvest Time

Mark your calendars for two incredible opportunities to invite guests during our Harvest Time emphasis. On November 9, we’ll celebrate Veterans Honor Sunday, recognizing and thanking the men and women who’ve served our nation. Our Discipled Veterans ministry meets every Wednesday evening, and we’d love to honor every veteran in our service that morning—special invitation cards are available at the Info Hub. Then on November 23, we gather for Harvest Day, traditionally our highest attendance Sunday of the year! We’ll enjoy special music from Tim and Hosanna Noble, followed by our annual Thanksgiving Dinner together. Both of these Sundays provide perfect opportunities to invite someone who needs to experience God’s love and the warmth of our church family. Three New Wednesday Bible Studies

We’re excited to launch three fresh Bible study opportunities starting this Wednesday, October 29. Whether you’re brand new in your faith or looking to strengthen your spiritual foundation, “First Steps: Foundations of the Christian Life” will help you build on solid ground—meeting in the Chapel. Men, join us in the Choir Room for “Nehemiah: Standing Firm in the Face of Opposition”—a powerful study on leadership, courage, and finishing what God calls us to do. Ladies, “James: Growing Up in Christ” meets at the Four Corners classroom and offers practical wisdom for spiritual maturity and putting faith into action. These Wednesday evening studies are perfect next steps for anyone wanting to go deeper in God’s Word and grow alongside other believers. Come join us!

The Countdown is On: Trunk or Treat – This Friday!

Just five days until our big Gospel outreach event from 6-8:30 this Friday! We still need candy donations so please keep those donations coming. If you’d prefer to give financially so we can purchase additional candy, simply mark your gift for Trunk or Treat. We’re also calling on prayer warriors to commit to praying before, during, and after Friday night. This is more than a fun community event—it’s a divine appointment to connect families with Jesus. Grab invitation flyers from the Info Hub today. Also, share our event from the church Facebook page to spread the word even further!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin.
