Digital Bulletin 11-2-2025
Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re grateful God has brought you here today as we enjoy our fall season together. Whether you’re a regular part of our church family or joining us for the first time, we believe your presence is no accident—the Lord has a purpose for you being here. As we enter this Harvest Time emphasis, we’re reminded that God is always at work, drawing people to Himself and growing His kingdom. Our prayer is that today’s worship will draw you closer to Christ and that you’ll sense His love through the fellowship of believers around you. Thank you for worshiping with us! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Harvest Time Starts This Sunday!

Today marks the beginning of our four-week Harvest Time emphasis! Jesus said, “The fields are white already to harvest” – and that’s exactly where we find ourselves right now. Through November 23, we’re asking everyone to make three simple commitments: Be Faithful (attend Sunday School all four Sundays), Reach Out (adopt someone who’s been drifting in prayer and reconnect with them), and Invite (bring one person to Veterans Honor Sunday next week or Harvest Day on Nov 23). Watch our Prayer Tree transform as leaves appear for those participating in all three commitments, and invitation apples are added as people say “yes” to your invitations! The harvest is ready, Cherry Street – let’s gather it in together!
Veterans Honor Sunday – Next Sunday, November 9

Next Sunday we’ll celebrate Veterans Honor Sunday, recognizing and thanking the men and women who’ve served our nation with courage and sacrifice. Our Discipled Veterans ministry meets every Wednesday evening, and we’d love to honor every veteran during our morning worship service. This is a perfect opportunity to invite a veteran or military family member who needs to experience God’s love and the warmth of our church family. Special invitation cards are available at the Info Hub—pick some up today and extend a personal invitation to someone who’s served!
Harvest Day – Sunday, November 23

Excitement is building for Harvest Day on November 23—traditionally our highest attendance Sunday of the year! We’ll enjoy special music from Tim and Hosanna Noble, followed by our annual Thanksgiving Dinner together. This special day provides a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to experience the joy of our church family. Harvest Day invitation cards are available at the Info Hub. Let’s make this year’s celebration our best yet!
Thank You For Making Trunk or Treat a Success!

As we’re writing this bulletin, our Trunk or Treat event is still ahead—but we already want to express our gratitude to everyone who’s preparing to serve! Whether you decorated a trunk, donated candy, volunteered your time, or committed to pray, thank you for being part of this Gospel opportunity. Events like Trunk or Treat don’t just happen—they require a church family willing to work together to reach our community with Christ’s love. We’re excited to see how God will use your faithful service to make an eternal impact in the lives of families who will be our guests. By the time you read this, we’ll have welcomed hundreds of people to our church campus, and many will have heard the Good News of Jesus for the first time. Thank you, Cherry Street, for your heart to reach the lost and your willingness to serve!
Next Step Bible Studies Continue This Wednesday!

What a great start to our three new Wednesday Bible Studies last week! We’re thrilled with the participation in each group and excited to see God’s Word take root in hearts. If you missed the first session, you’re still welcome to jump in this Wednesday! “First Steps: Foundations of the Christian Life” meets in the Chapel for anyone wanting to build on solid spiritual ground. Men can join “Nehemiah: Standing Firm in the Face of Opposition” in the Choir Room for a powerful study on courage and finishing strong. Ladies, “James: Growing Up in Christ” gathers at the Four Corners classroom for practical wisdom on spiritual maturity. These studies are perfect for anyone wanting to grow deeper in God’s Word alongside other believers. Join us this Wednesday evening!
