Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church on this special Harvest Day! We’re thrilled God has brought you here today. Whether you’re a regular part of our church family, joining us for the first time, or here as a guest of someone who invited you, we believe your presence is no accident—the Lord has a purpose for you being here. As we worship together and then share a Thanksgiving meal, our prayer is that you’ll experience Christ’s love in a powerful way and feel the warmth of genuine Christian fellowship. It’s Harvest Day
Today we celebrate Harvest Day, the joyful culmination of our Harvest Time emphasis. Today is anything but a normal Sunday here at CSBC. We are celebrating God’s abundant blessings and the joy of gathering as His family. We are thankful for and amazed at the way we have seen God change lives in these last few weeks.
Welcome Our Special Musical Guests
We are excited to welcome Timothy and Hosanna Noble as our musical guests this morning! They will be sharing their gifts through both song and music in our Worship Service at 10:30. Don’t miss the special mini-concert they will present after lunch. Make sure to greet them and enjoy the encouragement and inspiration their music brings to our celebration.
Stay For Our Thanksgiving Meal
At the close of our morning service, everyone is warmly invited to join us for a Thanksgiving dinner. We’ll be serving turkey with all the traditional fixings and some delicious desserts—you’ll find there’s plenty for all! Whether you are a longtime member or a first-time guest, we would love for you to stay and celebrate with us as we enjoy good food and great fellowship together.
Schedule Changes & Thanksgiving Service This Week
There will be no Family Service tonight, nor will we meet for our Wednesday night Bible studies. Instead on Tuesday at 6:30, we will meet for a special Thanksgiving service. The church office will be closed Wednesday through Friday so our staff can celebrate with their families. Pickleball is taking a holiday break too. We’ll be back to our regular schedule the following week, but for now, let’s all embrace this time to rest, reflect on God’s goodness, and enjoy time with the people we love. Don’t Miss Christmas at Cherry Street
The Christmas season is almost here! Throughout December, each Sunday will point us toward our Savior who came humbly to a manger in Bethlehem. Mark your calendars for these special celebrations:
- Sunday, December 14
- Morning: Adult Choir Christmas Musical
- Evening: Kids Choir Christmas Musical
- Sunday, December 21 – Christmas Sunday Celebration
- Wednesday, December 24 – Christmas Eve Service
Plus: Sunday School classes will announce their Christmas parties this week—watch for details!
This is the most wonderful time of the year to reflect on the gift of Jesus and celebrate His birth with our church family. Let’s make this Christmas season one of worship, joy, and meaningful connection!
The Info Hub
The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.
For Android phones, follow these steps:
1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.
For iPhones, follow these steps:
1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving.
