Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! As we gather on this first Sunday following Thanksgiving, our hearts remain full of gratitude for God’s goodness and faithfulness. We’re thankful you’ve joined us today—whether you’re part of our church family or visiting with us. The spirit of thanksgiving shouldn’t end with one day but should overflow into our daily lives as we recognize God’s constant provision and love. As we worship together, study His Word, and fellowship with one another, may you sense the Lord’s presence and experience the joy that comes from knowing Him. Celebrating God’s Harvest Among Us!
What a glorious Harvest Day we experienced last Sunday! God blessed us abundantly as we witnessed believers baptized, and new members joining our church family. We celebrated those who were saved last week and planted and watered Gospel seeds for a continual harvest. The Harvest Time emphasis bore incredible fruit as our church family faithfully prayed, invited, and welcomed guests into our services. Your dedication to locating the lost, reaching out with invitations, showing acts of kindness, and bringing people to Harvest Day demonstrated the heart of Christ in action. The beautiful Thanksgiving dinner you provided was a feast of fellowship that perfectly capped off a day of celebration. Thank you for your faithful service, your generous hearts, and your commitment to seeing lives changed by the Gospel. The harvest truly was plentiful, and you were willing laborers in God’s field!
Back to Our Regular Schedule
This week we return to our full ministry schedule. Join us for community outreach on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday as we continue sharing the Gospel throughout Springfield. Prime Timers meets this Tuesday for fellowship and encouragement. Wednesday evening brings our Next Step Bible Studies—ladies are studying the book of James, men are working through Nehemiah, and we have vibrant youth and children’s ministries for all ages. These midweek opportunities provide excellent ways to grow deeper in your faith and connect with your church family. We hope to see you there!
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
PrimeTimers, this week’s luncheon theme is it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! If you’re 55+, dress like Christmas and join us at 10:30 on Tuesday!

The Christmas season is almost here! Throughout December, each Sunday will point us toward our Savior who came humbly to a manger in Bethlehem. Mark your calendars for these special celebrations:

- Sunday, December 21 – Christmas Sunday Celebration
- Wednesday, December 24 – Christmas Eve Service

This is the most wonderful time of the year to reflect on the gift of Jesus and celebrate His birth with our church family. Let’s make this Christmas season one of worship, joy, and meaningful connection!

The Info Hub
The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.
For Android phones, follow these steps:
1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.
For iPhones, follow these steps:
1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby

On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App
Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
