Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! As we step into December, we enter a season of anticipation and wonder. Today marks the beginning of our journey toward Christmas—a time when we celebrate the most extraordinary moment in history: God coming near to us in the person of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re part of our church family or visiting with us today, we’re so glad you’re here to begin this Advent season with us. In the weeks ahead, we’ll prepare our hearts to celebrate the incredible truth that Immanuel—God with us—has come to dwell among us. As we worship, study God’s Word, and fellowship together, may the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ fill your heart. Thank you for being here today! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Christmas at Cherry Street Begins Today!

As we gather on this first Sunday of December, we’re stepping into a season where every worship service will draw our hearts closer to the manger. Over the next few weeks, we’ll focus on the incredible truth that God loved us enough to become one of us—humbly entering our world as a baby in Bethlehem.

Join Us For Our Christmas Musicals

Next Sunday, December 14, our Adult Choir presents their Christmas musical in the morning service, followed by our Kids Choir Christmas musical in the evening. These performances are beautiful expressions of the Christmas story through music, and they’re the perfect opportunity to invite someone who needs to hear about Jesus. Whether it’s a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor—this is a warm, welcoming way to share the hope of the Gospel during a season when hearts are often more open. Everyone is welcome!

More Ways to Celebrate Christmas Together

On Sunday, December 21, we’ll gather for our Christmas Sunday Celebration—a special worship service where we’ll celebrate the birth of our Savior together as a church family with joyful music, Scripture, and reflection on the greatest gift ever given. Then on Tuesday, December 24, join us for our Christmas Eve Service, a meaningful time of worship and candlelight as we remember the night when hope entered the world in a Bethlehem stable. Your Sunday School class will also be announcing details for Christmas parties this week, so watch for information about times, locations, and how you can join in the fun! This is the most wonderful time of the year to pause, worship, and celebrate the greatest gift ever given. Let’s make this Christmas season unforgettable as we point our hearts—and our community—toward Jesus!

Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering – 2026 Projects

The season of giving is here! We’re launching our annual Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering to fund four essential 2026 projects: replacing our second lobby HVAC unit ($26,500), replacing the parapet cap and painting/sealing the uppermost sections of our sanctuary exterior ($15,000), resealing our parking lot ($15,000), and adding new playground equipment ($4,000). Our goal is $60,500, and we’re already seeding it with $10,000!

Year after year, you’ve faithfully responded to these needs, and God has provided every dollar. Last year’s $60,000 goal was met completely. This offering runs through year-end and into early 2026, allowing you to spread gifts over multiple weeks.

Give today: Offering envelopes, mycsbc.com/giving, Connect app, or text “mycsbc” to 73256. Let’s celebrate Jesus by investing in His church!
