Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome! We’re grateful you’ve joined us today as we draw near to Christmas. There’s something truly special about this season—not because of the gifts under the tree or the lights on display, but because we celebrate God’s greatest gift to the world. Whether you’re part of our church family or visiting with us today, we hope you’ll sense God’s presence as we worship together. In just a few days, we’ll gather to remember that Christmas morning when Heaven came down and Hope was born in Bethlehem. May your heart be filled with wonder and joy as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for being here! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Christmas Musical This Morning: “Come Adore”

This morning, our choir will present the musical, “Come, Adore,” under the direction of Micah Young. We’re blessed to have a choir that ministers faithfully week after week, and today they’ll lead us in celebrating the birth of Christ through music that captures the wonder and worship of that first Christmas. The message of these songs will draw our hearts toward the manger and remind us why Jesus came—to be our Savior and King. As our choir presents this musical, may we join them in adoring the One who left heaven’s glory to bring us salvation. This is why our hearts are full at Christmas!

Children’s Christmas Musical Tonight at 6:00 PM

Join us tonight as our children present their Christmas musical, “The Mystery of the Missing Manger.” When a group of kids discover the manger is missing from their church decorations, they set out to solve what they call a “serious, mysterious mystery.” As they search, they keep coming back to the real meaning of Christmas—God’s promise fulfilled in sending a Savior born in a manger. Our children have been working hard to share this message through music and drama, and their enthusiasm is contagious!

Christmas Sunday Celebration Next Week!

Next Sunday, December 21, we’ll celebrate Christmas Sunday throughout the day! Our Sunday School Bible study will focus on the birth of our Savior, and our morning Worship Service filled with special Christmas music and a message that honors Christ who came to redeem us. Then at 6:00 PM, we’ll relax a little and enjoy some fun together as a church family—including a wheelbarrow full of candy for the children! This is a wonderful opportunity to bring family and friends for a full day of celebrating Jesus. With Christmas Day falling just a few days later, let’s gather as God’s family to worship the newborn King and share the joy of this special season together!

Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering – 2026 Projects

Last week we introduced our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering, and we’re grateful for your generous response! As we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, we’re inviting you to give Jesus a birthday gift that serves His church and blesses our community. This year’s offering will fund essential 2026 projects including completing our second lobby HVAC unit, restoring and sealing our sanctuary exterior, resealing our parking lot, and adding new playground equipment—totaling $60,500. As of Friday, we’re at $12,950; that’s 21% of our goal in just 5 days! Year after year, God has provided through your generous giving. This offering continues through the end of the year and into early 2026. You can give online at mycsbc.com/giving, through our Connect app, text “mycsbc” to 73256, or use an offering envelope during any service. Let’s honor Christ together!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Begin your family’s Christmas celebration with us at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM. There’s something special about gathering as God’s family on Christmas Eve to reflect on the wonder of Christ’s birth. The soft glow of candlelight, familiar carols, and the timeless story from God’s Word create a powerful moment to pause and worship the newborn King. Make this service part of your Christmas tradition!

Christmas Card Mailbox in the North Lobby

If you would like to share Christmas cards with people in our church family and save the USPS postage, we have a Christmas Card Mailbox in the North Lobby.
