Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church on this Sunday before Christmas! Whether you’re here every week or joining us for the first time today during this special season, we’re truly grateful you’ve come to worship with us. Christmas is just four days away, and our hearts are filled with wonder at God’s incred-ible gift to the world. Christmas Sunday Celebration Today!

We’re celebrating Christmas Sunday throughout the day at Cherry Street! Our Sunday School Bible study hour focuses on the birth of our Savior, and our morning Worship Service is filled with special Christmas music and a message that honors the Christ who came to redeem us. Let’s worship the newborn King and share the joy of this special season together today!

Christmas Family Service Tonight at 6:00 PM!

Join us tonight for a festive and fun-filled Christmas Family Service! Wear your Christmas sweater and come ready to enjoy the season with your church family! We’ll have Christmas music, special activities, fellowship, and yes a wheelbarrow full of candy for the children! This is a relaxed, celebratory evening where we can simply enjoy being together and rejoicing in the joy that Jesus brought to the world. Bring your family and friends for this special Christmas gathering!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – Wednesday at 6:00 PM

Begin your family’s Christmas celebration with us at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM. The soft glow of candlelight, familiar carols, and the timeless story from God’s Word create a powerful moment to pause and worship the newborn King. Please bring a self-contained candle for our candlelight time. Make this service part of your Christmas tradition!

Christmas Card Mailbox in the North Lobby

If you’d like to share Christmas cards with people in our church family and save postage, we have a Christmas Card Mailbox in the North Lobby. Drop your cards into the box and they’ll be sorted into folders for easy pickup. Check the folders from time to time to collect any cards delivered to you!

Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering – 2026 Projects

Thank you for your generous response to our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering! As of Thursday, we have over $15,000—that’s 25% of our $60,500 goal, for which we praise the Lord! This offering funds essential 2026 projects including replacing a lobby HVAC unit, restoring and sealing our sanctuary exterior, resealing our parking lot, and adding new playground equipment. This offering continues through the end of the year and into early 2026. You can give online at mycsbc.com/giving, through our Connect app, text “mycsbc” to 73256, or use an offering envelope during any service. Let’s honor Christ together!

Christmas Week Office Hours

To allow our staff time with their families this Christmas week, the church office will be open Monday and Tuesday only. Some staff will return Saturday morning. If you have an emergency during the week, please call the church office and a pastor on call will respond as soon as possible.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
