Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re grateful you’ve chosen to worship with us on this second Sunday of the new year. There’s something encouraging about gathering together as God’s people to seek His face and grow in our faith. Whether you’re a faithful member of our church family or this is your first visit with us, we believe God has a purpose for your being here today. As we open His Word, lift our voices in worship, and fellowship together, may the Lord speak to your heart and meet you right where you are. A Month of Grateful Hearts

Throughout the month of January, we’re building on the foundation of grateful hearts toward God. This week, we’re focusing on how recognizing God’s goodness naturally leads us to faithful living in every area of life. When our hearts are truly thankful for all God has done, it changes our perspective on everything He’s placed in our hands—our time, our talents, our treasure, and our calling to share the Gospel. Living with grateful hearts isn’t a burden we carry, but a joyful response to a generous God who has given us far more than we deserve. As we worship and study together this Sunday, let’s ask the Lord to deepen our gratitude and show us practical ways to honor Him with all that we are and all that we have.

Reading the Bible Changes Your Life

Reading God’s Word daily has the power to transform your life from the inside out—giving you wisdom for decisions, comfort in trials, direction for your path, and a deeper relationship with the Lord. If you started the reading plan on January 1, you’re already experiencing this as you’re now over a week into reading through the entire Bible in 2026. If you haven’t started yet, it’s not too late to begin this life-changing journey! Our Reading Plan provides 25 daily readings each month with built-in flexibility, so you can easily catch up and join us. It provides variety with passages from the Old and New Testaments each day. A printed copy of ‘The Navigators Bible Reading Plan’ is available in your Sunday School class or in the lobby. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.”

Prime Timers Gathering This Tuesday

Our Prime Timers are kicking off the new year with their first meeting of 2026 this Tuesday, January 13, at 10:30 AM. Join us for a wonderful time of fun, fellowship, and of course, great food! This is a perfect opportunity for our senior adults to reconnect after the holidays, enjoy meaningful conversation, and share in the warmth of Christian friendship. Whether you’re a regular or considering joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you there. Prime Timers is more than just a meeting—it’s a time to encourage one another, grow together, and celebrate the blessings of life and faith. Mark your calendar and plan to join us Tuesday morning!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.

By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby

On the Realm Connect app

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
