Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church on this cold January morning! We’re so glad you braved the winter weather to worship with us today. There’s something special about gathering together as God’s people even when it would be easier to stay bundled up at home—it reminds us that our fellowship and worship matter. Whether you’re a faithful member of our church family or visiting for the first time, thank you for being here. As we warm our hearts through worship, open God’s Word together, and encourage one another in faith, may the Lord meet you in a powerful way. A Month of Grateful Hearts Continues

Throughout January, we’re discovering we’re “Made For This” – designed by God for His eternal purpose in the church. When we grasp that truth, grateful hearts naturally follow. Recognizing God’s goodness and our unique place in His plan transforms our perspective on everything He’s entrusted to us—our time, our talents, our treasure, and our calling to share the Gospel. Living with grateful hearts isn’t a burden, but a joyful response to being precisely positioned by God to fulfill His eternal purpose. Let’s ask the Lord to deepen our gratitude for being “made for this” and show us practical ways to honor Him with all that we are and all that we have.

Football Sunday Is Coming – February 8!

Mark your calendars for Football Sunday on February 8—Super Bowl weekend! We’re turning our morning worship service into a unique Gospel opportunity and celebrating with a tailgate party immediately following the service. Wear your favorite team jersey to church that morning, and we’ll hear powerful video testimonies from NFL players sharing their faith in Christ. This is a fantastic chance to invite friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who might not normally come to church but would enjoy the fun atmosphere and hear the life-changing message of the Gospel. Start praying now about who you can invite to join you for this special Sunday!

Annual Business Meeting & Officer Nominations

Our annual business meeting is coming on Wednesday, February 4. We will review the blessings of last year, approve a new budget, and elect officers. Officer nomination forms are available at the Info Hub.

Reading the Bible Changes Your Life

Reading God’s Word daily has the power to transform your life—giving you wisdom for decisions, comfort in trials, and a deeper relationship with the Lord. If you haven’t started reading through the Bible in 2026, it’s not too late! Our Navigators Reading Plan provides 25 daily readings each month with built-in flexibility to catch up. Copies are available in your Sunday School class, the lobby, on the YouVersion app, or at mycsbc.com.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
