Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We are so glad you are here today. There is something special about gathering as a community of faith to worship the Lord and encourage one another. Whether you have been part of our church family for many years or this is your very first Sunday with us, our prayer is that you will experience both the presence of God and the warmth of genuine Christian fellowship today. We believe God has a purpose in bringing you here, and we are honored to worship alongside you. May today’s service be an encouragement to your heart! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Salvations, Baptism, Life Change!

Last Sunday was a beautiful reminder of His saving grace as we celebrated a whole family following the Lord in believer’s baptism — and a precious little one making their salvation public. Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do! And this is just a snapshot of what God has been doing since January 1st. Already in 2026, we have seen many people trust Christ as Savior, follow Him in baptism, and unite with our church family. To God be the glory — the best is yet to come!

“Walking with God” – It’s Not Too Late to Join Us!

Last Wednesday, 70+ people took a meaningful step toward a deeper walk with the Lord by signing up for our new Mentoring Discipleship groups. If you missed it, don’t worry — there is still time to be part of this life-changing journey! This Wednesday at 6:30, we will all gather again in the Auditorium as we introduce a simple, practical method for personal Bible study. At the close of the evening, we will meet the mentors, and those who are participating will connect briefly with their group and receive their notebooks. Our goal is simple: to help every believer develop a consistent, daily walk with the Lord. Sign up at the Info Hub or use the QR code on the screen to be involved in a group. This will be life-changing for those who are involved!

Kenya Missions Trip Garage Sale Fundraiser

Help send our team to Kenya! We are collecting donated items for a garage sale fundraiser taking place March 12–14, and we need your help to make it a success. As you’re spring cleaning, consider setting aside gently used items to donate — every contribution makes a difference in funding this important missions trip. For more information on how to donate items or get involved, see Andy Young.

CSBC Spring Training – Leaders, Your Call to the Dugout

Spring Training is coming to Cherry Street Baptist Church, and we are gearing up for our most exciting Easter season yet! Today is the day our teachers and care group leaders have been hearing about — our Spring Training kickoff meeting is this afternoon at 4:53 in the Fellowship Hall (we’re calling it “The Dugout” today!). We will be casting a vision for our Easter push, laying out an exciting plan for the weeks leading up to April 5, and every leader will receive a special gift. This will be fun, fast-moving, and full of purpose. Leaders, don’t be late — first pitch is at 4:53 sharp!

Griefshare – Finding Hope After Loss

If you or someone you know is carrying the weight of grief, we want you to know there is a place for you here. A new session of GriefShare begins Thursday, March 5, from 6–8 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This powerful program brings together people who understand the pain of losing a loved one, offering comfort, practical guidance, and the hope that healing is possible. Each week features an encouraging video, honest conversation, and a personal workbook to help you process your journey. You can join at any point — it is never too late to come. Contact the church office for more information.
