Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church — we are so glad you are here! This week I am away preaching at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Buckley, Wales, alongside the Orrick and Adams families and our missions team, but I want you to know you are loved and prayed for. Honestly, there is nothing quite like the local church gathering together, and whether you have been coming here for years or today is your very first Sunday, I am believing God has something just for you in this service. He has a purpose in bringing you here — and my prayer is that you leave today encouraged and knowing just how much He loves you! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. CSBC Spring Training Praying for a Easter Home Run!

Our Spring Training emphasis kicks off next Sunday, March 15, and runs all the way through Easter Sunday, April 5 — and every week has a goal. Think of it like stepping up to the plate: March 15 is your Single (invite your first person), March 22 is your Double (invite your second), March 29 is your Triple (invite your third), and Easter Sunday, April 5, is the Home Run — four people coming through our doors to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!

The goal is simple: one commitment per week leading up to Easter. But today is our last chance for Pregame Warmups before the emphasis officially begins — teachers will be decorating their classrooms, distributing lineup cards and invites, announcing class goals, and challenging every member to bring their first promise for Easter.

This isn’t just a month on the calendar — it’s a season of intentional, Spirit-led preparation. Let’s step up to the plate, Cherry Street, and swing for the fences this Easter!

Griefshare – Hope for the Hurting

Grief is heavy — but you don’t have to carry it alone. GriefShare is now underway on Thursdays from 6–8 PM in the Fellowship Hall, and it’s not too late to join! Because each session stands on its own, you can start any week without missing a thing. This welcoming, Christ-centered program offers video teaching, honest conversation, and a personal workbook to help you navigate loss at your own pace. Spring Cleaning for Kenya – Garage Sale Fundraiser

Spring cleaning season is here — and your gently used items could help send our missions team to Kenya! Our garage sale fundraiser is happening this week, March 12–14, and we need your donations to make it a success. Whether it’s clothes, household items, décor, or anything in between, every single contribution makes a difference. This is a simple and practical way to be part of something bigger — turning your spring cleaning into a missions investment. Don’t miss this opportunity to help get our team to Kenya! Discipleship Mentoring Groups Underway

This past week our groups have officially broken into their meeting spaces, and it is not too late to join! There is still a spot for you. Sign up at the Info Hub or use the QR code on the screen — we believe this will be one of the most impactful things you do this year!

First Steps Discipleship Returning March 11

Also beginning this Wednesday, March 11 — First Steps! Meeting in the Chapel, First Steps is the essential discipleship class for every believer, covering the foundational truths every Christian needs to know as they get started in their faith. Whether you are brand new to the faith or just want to make sure your foundation is solid, this class is for you. Don’t miss it!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin.
