Welcome to CSBC!

We are so glad you are here today. Whether you are joining us for the first time or you have been part of our church family for years, you are welcome in this place. Last Sunday we gathered to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the joy of Easter doesn’t fade with the passing of a single day. The risen Christ is alive and at work — in our church, in our community, and we trust, in your life as well. Our prayer is that today’s service draws you deeper into that living hope and closer to the One who conquered the grave. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

The Joy of Serving Jesus

One of the greatest privileges of the Christian life is serving the Lord alongside fellow believers, and Cherry Street Baptist Church is blessed with an army of faithful servants. To those who give their time and energy week after week — in our Sunday School classes, Children’s Ministries and Nurseries, Outreach and Visitation, Shut-Ins Ministry, with our Route Captains and Drivers, Choir, Orchestra, Hospitality, and countless volunteer projects — we say a heartfelt thank you. The Bible reminds us that “whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23). If you have been looking for a place to plug in and serve, we would love to help you find your place on the team. Sign up online or at the Info Hub — and let’s serve Jesus together!

Ladies Brunch – Saturday May 2nd

Ladies, we have a morning planned that you are not going to want to miss! Join us for our Ladies Brunch on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 a.m. — the weekend before Mother’s Day! This year’s theme is “When Life Gives You Lemons, Jesus Makes Lemonade!” — and what an encouragement it is going to be. Life has a way of handing us things we didn’t ask for, but Jesus has a way of transforming every hard thing into something sweet and purposeful. Come expecting to be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded of His faithfulness. Bring your mother, your daughter, your neighbor, or a friend! Tickets are just $6.00 per person, with children 12 and under admitted for $3.00. They can be purchased online through Realm Connect or at the Info Hub. We can’t wait to see you there!

Honor Mom this Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day is one of those Sundays that just feels special, and we want to make it a memorable one at Cherry Street Baptist Church! Plan now to bring the mom in your life and join us as we celebrate and honor mothers during our services on May 10th. It is a perfect Sunday to invite a friend, a neighbor, or a family member who needs to be in church — and what better reason to extend that invitation than to honor the mothers in our lives? We believe you and your guests will leave encouraged and grateful. Don’t miss it!

“Kidz Storm” VBS – Out of this World!

Blast off! Kidz Storm Vacation Bible School is coming May 31 through June 3, and it is going to be an incredible week for kids! This year’s adventure takes children on a journey through some of the Bible’s most extraordinary moments. Come hear the real stories of ordinary people who experienced the supernatural power of God in ways that were truly out of this world. Whether your child is a longtime CSBC kid or a first-time guest, this is a week they will not want to miss. Registration details are coming soon so stay tuned!

Youth Camp – June 15-19

Teens, here is something worth circling on your calendar! Youth Camp at Camp Chautauqua in Ohio is set for June 15-19, and we are expecting a great week. There is something about getting away together — the friendships, the fun, and the focused time in God’s Word — that has a way of leaving a lasting mark on a young person’s life. We want every teen at CSBC to be part of this experience. See Andy Young or Jakob Lynn for details!
