Digital Bulletin 5-3-2026
Welcome to CSBC!

What a week it has been — and what a good God we serve! Our area was battered by severe storms that left real damage in their wake, yet by God’s mercy and protection, no lives were lost. We don’t take that lightly. The Bible reminds us that it is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, and His compassions fail not. If the storms left you shaken, we’re glad you found your way here today — this is a place where real hope meets real life. Whether you’re part of our church family or joining us for the first time, welcome. We are grateful you are here. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
Ladies, You Are Loved!

Mother’s Day is next Sunday, May 10th, and we’d love for you to bring someone with you — a friend, neighbor, or family member who needs to be in church. There’s no better Sunday to invite someone than a day already set aside to celebrate the special women in our lives. Speaking of celebrations, what a morning we had yesterday at our Ladies Brunch! Response was so strong we moved from the Fellowship Hall into the Gillming Center gym — and filled it up! Speaker Stephanie Ricard brought an encouraging word around the theme “When Life Gives You Lemons, Jesus Makes Lemonade!” that touched hearts across every season of life. Thank you to every volunteer and staff member who made it such a special morning — God was glorified, and ladies were blessed!
Sunday Nights at the Pavilion – Starting Tonight!

Grab a lawn chair! Our Sunday Nights at the Pavilion begin this evening! Join us for our Family Service tonight, where you’ll find fire pits glowing, marshmallows roasting, and s’mores to enjoy. This is one of those nights that is just plain fun for the whole family, and a great opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy some sweet fellowship together under the open sky. Whether you’re a longtime member or joining us for the first time, come casual, come hungry, and come ready for a great evening. We’ll see you out there tonight!
Pickleball Tournament – This Friday and Saturday!

Our missions team is heading to Kenya this July, and we need your help sending them well! Join us this Friday evening and Saturday, May 8th and 9th, for a Pickleball Tournament fundraiser to support this important Gospel ministry. Whether you’re a player or just a fan, come out and cheer on the competition! Saturday will also feature a Silent Auction — so even if a pickleball paddle isn’t in your hand, there’s still a great reason to show up and bid on something special. Spectators and bidders are warmly welcome. Come support our Kenya team and have a great time doing it!
Kidz Storm VBS – Registration Opens Today!

The countdown is on — and registration is open starting today! Kidz Storm Vacation Bible School runs May 31 through June 3, and we are expecting an incredible week. This year’s theme takes kids on a journey through some of the most jaw-dropping moments in all of Scripture — real stories of real people who discovered firsthand that nothing is impossible with God. If you have children or grandchildren, neighbors or friends with kids, now is the time to get them signed up and spread the word. Register today online through Realm Connect or at the Info Hub. Don’t miss liftoff!
New Ladies Class Coming May 17!

Ladies between the ages of 35 and 55 — we have something just for you! We are launching a brand new Sunday School class on May 17, designed specifically with you in mind. Whether you are already part of our church family or have been looking for a place to connect, this is a great opportunity to grow in God’s Word alongside women in a similar season of life. We would love to know you are interested! Reach out by emailing info@mycsbc.com with the subject line “Ladies Class,” or simply give the church office a call.
Youth Camp – June 15-19

Teens, mark your calendars! Youth Camp at Camp Chautauqua in Ohio is June 15-19, and we are praying and believing God for a life-changing week for our students. To help make camp possible for every teen who wants to go, we are hosting a Fundraiser Garage Sale May 28-30. We are gladly accepting donations to stock the sale — please hold onto them until the week of May 11 before bringing anything in. Start digging through those closets! See Andy Young or Jakob Lynn with any questions or to learn more.
