Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We are so glad you are here today. Whether you are part of our church family or joining us for the first time, you have come to the right place. We believe God is at work in this place — saving the lost, healing the broken, and transforming lives — and we are grateful He brought you here. Our prayer is that today’s service will encourage your heart, strengthen your faith, and remind you that you are deeply loved by the Lord Jesus Christ. Come expecting to meet with God, and let’s worship together. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Celebrating the Ladies of CSBC Today!

There is an old saying that goes something like, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world” and most of us would agree. Where would any of us be without the life and sacrifice given by our moms? Today we celebrate mothers and honor every woman in our church family. We recognize, however, that Mother’s Day stirs a range of emotions. Some carry the quiet ache of longing, the grief of loss, or the weight of a strained relationship. Whatever you are feeling today, you are not alone — and you are loved. We are blessed to have you as part of our lives and pray God’s richest blessings on you today.

New Ladies Class Coming May 17!

Ladies ages 35–55, this one is for you! A brand new Sunday School class launches May 17, designed specifically for women in your season of life. Whether you have been part of CSBC for years or are still looking for a place to connect and grow, this is a great opportunity to dig into God’s Word alongside women who understand where you are. We would love to know you are coming! Email info@mycsbc.com with the subject line “Ladies Class,” or give the church office a call. We cannot wait to see what God does in and through this new class!

Sunday Nights at the Pavilion

There is no Sunday evening service this week — enjoy the day with your family! Then mark your calendar for our second Sunday Night at the Pavilion on May 17. Last week was a blast, and we are turning it up a notch! We will have a shooting gallery ready to go, a bike track set up for the kids — and we hear there may be a race involved! Hot dogs will be coming off the grill, and if you want to bring a deck of Uno cards or a favorite game, grab a table and get after it. Bring your family, bring your neighbors, and come ready for a great evening together!

VBS is Almost Here – Three Weeks Away!

Registration is open for Kidz Storm Vacation Bible School, May 31 through June 3! This year’s theme is out of this world — literally. Kids will journey through some of the most remarkable moments in all of Scripture, encountering real people who discovered firsthand that nothing is impossible with God. If you have children, grandchildren, neighbors, or friends with kids, now is the time to get them signed up. Register online through Realm Connect or stop by the Info Hub. It is going to be an incredible week — do not let the kids in your life miss it!

Youth Camp & Garage Sale

Youth Camp at Camp Chautauqua in Ohio is just around the corner — June 15–19 — and we are praying for a week that changes lives. To help make camp accessible for every student who wants to go, we are hosting a Fundraiser Garage Sale May 28–30. We are accepting donations to stock the sale. Time to start digging through those closets! Reach out to Andy Young or Jakob Lynn with questions or for more information.

Culture Clash – Wednesday Nights in the Chapel

We live in a day when Biblical truth is being redefined, reshaped, and repackaged at a speed never seen before. With a swipe or a scroll, anyone can find a preacher — on YouTube, TikTok, or social media — who will tell them exactly what they want to hear. But what does God’s Word actually say? Beginning this Wednesday, Pastor Dennis is launching a three-week Bible study in the chapel called Culture Clash — an honest, straightforward look at how today’s culture is colliding with Biblical truth, and how what we believe shapes the way we live out our faith. This is a study you do not want to miss. Bring a friend!
