Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re so glad you’re here today, and we mean that whether you’ve been part of our family for decades or you’re walking through our doors for the very first time. God is at work at Cherry Street — lives are being changed, faith is growing, and there’s always room for one more around the table. Our prayer for today is simple: that you leave this place knowing you are loved by God and that you’ve drawn a little closer to Him. Come expecting something good — He has a way of showing up when His people gather. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Celebrating Our Graduates – Next Sunday, May 24!

If you have a graduate in your family, we want to hear about it! Next Sunday, May 24, we will take time at the close of our morning service to recognize and celebrate the graduates of Cherry Street Baptist Church. Whether crossing the stage from high school or completing a college degree, these milestones are worth celebrating together as a church family. Each graduate will receive a gift from the church as a token of our love and encouragement for the journey ahead. Please make sure your graduate’s name and school are submitted to the church office so we don’t miss anyone!

A New Ladies Class Starts Today!

Ladies ages 35–55, today is the day! Our brand new Sunday School class for women in your season of life launches this morning, led by co-teachers Tonia Kotulski and Janna Wiseley. You’ll find them in Room 121 — just two doors south of the Choir Room. Whether you have been part of CSBC for years or are still looking for your place to connect and grow, this is a wonderful opportunity to dig into God’s Word alongside women who understand where you are. Come find your seat this Sunday and see what God has in store for you and this new class!

Sunday Nights at the Pavilion – This Evening at 6

Join us this Sunday evening at 6:00 PM at the Pavilion for our second night of summer fun! We’ll have hotdogs, chips, drinks, and desserts — so come hungry! Try your aim at the shooting gallery — it’s fun for all ages! Kids, bring your bikes and skates and take over the course. If you’ve got a favorite table game, bring it along for some friendly competition, and don’t forget your lawn chairs! These evenings are a great opportunity to relax, enjoy good fellowship, and invite a friend or neighbor who might not yet be part of our church family. We’ll see you out there!

Truth Tracker Awards – Sunday Evening

One of the highlights of this Sunday evening at the Pavilion will be the presentation of Truth Tracker Awards! Truth Trackers is our Wednesday evening discipleship program for kids, and these awards represent real growth and accomplishment in the lives of our children. We want to pack the Pavilion with people who love these kids and want to celebrate what God has been doing in their hearts. Come cheer them on, and let yourself be encouraged — there is nothing quite like watching the next generation grow in the Word of God!

VBS is Almost Here – Two Weeks Away!

“Out of This World” kicks off May 31 and runs through June 3, 6:00–8:30 PM, for kids ages 3–12th grade. We’re gearing up for an epic week of Bible stories, games, worship, digital puppets, and more — and we’d love for your kids and grandkids to be there! Invite your neighbors, friends, and anyone with little ones. Registration is free — see the info hub online and in the foyer for details!

VBS Leaders, join us Wednesday night May 20 for a training session on what to expect each night, chaos management, and how to lead a child to Christ.

Youth Camp & Garage Sale

Youth Camp at Camp Chautauqua in Ohio is just around the corner — June 15–19 — and we are praying for a week that changes lives. To help make camp accessible for every student who wants to go, we are hosting a Fundraiser Garage Sale May 28–30. We are accepting donations to stock the sale. Time to start digging through those closets! Reach out to Andy Young or Jakob Lynn with questions or for more information.
