Welcome to CSBC!

We’re so glad you’re here today! Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years or you’re walking through our doors for the very first time, you are welcome here. We believe God has a purpose in bringing each person to worship today, and our prayer is that you’ll experience something real — a genuine encounter with the Lord and the warmth of people who care about you. As we open God’s Word together, may your faith be strengthened, your burdens lightened, and your heart encouraged. This is a great day to be in the house of God! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Remembering Those Who Gave All

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor the men and women who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. Their sacrifice deserves more than a holiday — it deserves our heartfelt gratitude and our solemn remembrance. As believers, we are reminded that freedom always comes at great cost. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). We are grateful for those who embodied that kind of love in service to our nation. May God comfort the families who carry the weight of that loss every day.
“Out of This World” VBS Begins Next Sunday!

Blast off! Our Vacation Bible School kicks off next Sunday through Wednesday, and we are thrilled to welcome Steve Harney and Cool Kids Ministries for what is going to be an incredible week! Kids ages 3 through high school will enjoy games, great music, amazing Bible stories, and live ventriloquism — it’s going to be out of this world! Here’s a bonus — every child who brings a guest gets a turn in the cash cube! Don’t wait to sign up. Stop by the registration table in the lobby — just look for the Space Man — and get your kids registered today. Invite every kid you know!
Honoring Our Graduates

This Sunday we are celebrating the graduates in our church family! Whether you are completing high school and stepping into a new chapter, or finishing a college or advanced degree, we want you to know how proud we are of your hard work and dedication. More than that, we pray that as you move forward, you will keep Christ at the center of everything ahead of you. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Congratulations — your best days are ahead!
A New Ladies Class – Now Meeting!

Last Sunday we launched a brand new Sunday School class for ladies ages 35–55, and we’d love to see even more women find their way to Room 121 — just two doors south of the Choir Room. Co-teachers Tonia Kotulski and Janna Wiseley are leading this class for women in this season of life, and it’s already off to a wonderful start. If you’ve been looking for a place to connect, grow in God’s Word, and build friendships with women who understand where you are, this is your class. It’s not too late to jump in — come join them this Sunday!
Sunday Night at the Pavilion – Memorial Day Picnic!

This Sunday evening at 6:00 PM we’re celebrating Memorial Day weekend with a Pavilion Picnic, and you’re invited! This will be a potluck-style gathering, so bring a dish or two to share and come ready to enjoy great food and even better fellowship. The church will provide the drinks. Bring your lawn chairs and settle in for a relaxing evening together. The kids will love the inflatables, and there will be fun for the whole family. These Sunday evenings at the Pavilion are a wonderful chance to build friendships and invite a neighbor or friend to experience the warmth of our church family!
Youth Camp & Garage Sale

Youth Camp at Camp Chautauqua in Ohio is just around the corner — June 14–19 — and we are praying for a week that changes lives. To help make camp accessible for every student who wants to go, we are hosting a Fundraiser Garage Sale May 28–30. We are accepting donations to stock the sale. Time to start digging through those closets! Reach out to Andy Young or Jakob Lynn with questions or for more information.
