Welcome to CSBC!

We are so glad you chose to worship with us today! Whatever brought you here — whether you’ve been part of our family for years or you’re walking through our doors for the very first time — we believe God has a purpose for you being here on this particular Sunday. A special welcome goes out to our VBS guests and families! This past week was an extraordinary one at Cherry Street, and if you came to check us out because of something your child experienced, we are thrilled you’re here. You are loved, you are welcome, and we hope today feels like home. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

VBS Was “Out of this World” – And God did it!

What a week! Our “Out of This World” Vacation Bible School wrapped up with results that can only be described as God-sized. Over the course of the week, 31 children and teens made the decision to trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior — 31 eternal decisions! We are beyond grateful to Steve and Cheryl Harney of Cool Kids Ministries for bringing their gifts and energy to our kids this week. “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works.” (Psalm 139:14) God did something marvelous this week, and we are still rejoicing!

It Takes a Church – Thank you, CSBC!

A week like VBS doesn’t happen without an army of faithful servants, and Cherry Street showed up in a big way. Thank you to everyone who prayed, walked neighborhoods distributing door hangers, and transformed our building with incredible decorations. Thank you to our setup and cleanup crews who worked behind the scenes. Our kitchen volunteers — true heroes — prepared five meals in four days, feeding hundreds of kids and volunteers without missing a beat. Thank you to our bus drivers and Driven Ministry, who made sure every child had a ride to church and safely home again. And a special thank you to every worker who poured love into those kids all week — playing with them, encouraging them, and pointing them to Jesus. Some of you had the joy of leading a child to Christ personally. There is no greater privilege. You are the hands and feet of Jesus, and heaven noticed!

Father’s Day & Men’s Breakfast – June 20-21

Dads, Father’s Day is coming on Sunday, June 21, and we want to celebrate you! But first — men, don’t miss our Men’s Breakfast at the Pavilion on Saturday morning, June 20, at 9:00 AM! It’s the perfect way to kick off Father’s Day weekend with good food, great fellowship, and encouragement from your brothers in Christ. Breakfast is free for children 7 and under, and just $4 per person for everyone else. Register through the Realm Connect app, scan the QR code in this bulletin, or stop by the Info Hub in the lobby. Come hungry and plan on a great morning!

Last Call! Youth Camp, June 14-19!

One week from this Sunday, our teens load up and head to Camp Chautauqua in Ohio for Youth Camp, June 14-19 — and we don’t want a single student to miss it! Camp is one of those experiences that has a way of leaving a mark that lasts a lifetime — the friendships, the fun, and most importantly, the focused time in God’s Word. If you have a teen who hasn’t signed up yet, now is the moment! And if you feel led to help scholarship a student who needs financial assistance to attend, we’d love to connect you with that opportunity. Reach out to Andy Young or Jakob Lynn for details — but don’t wait!
