Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We are so glad you are here today — whether you’ve been part of our family for years or this is your very first visit. We believe God brings people here on purpose, and our prayer is that you encounter His presence in a real and meaningful way this morning. As we worship together, open God’s Word, and share in fellowship, may you experience the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. You are not just a visitor here — you are wanted, welcomed, and valued. We are truly glad you are here! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Honor the Dads – Next Sunday, June 21!

Father’s Day is just one week away, and we want to celebrate the men of CSBC! This is a great opportunity to invite a father, grandfather, uncle, or any man who has made a difference in your life. Let’s honor the men God has in our lives and celebrate their faithfulness. Every man present will receive a token of appreciation. Don’t keep this Sunday to yourself — bring someone with you! A personal invitation from you could make this Father’s Day one they will never forget.

Father’s and Sons Breakfast – This Saturday

If you are a father or a son — mark this Saturday, June 20, on your calendar! Our Fathers & Sons Breakfast kicks off at 9AM at the Pavilion. This is a great morning of food, fellowship, and encouragement built around the bond between fathers and sons. Come enjoy this special time together! Register through the Realm Connect app or sign up at the Info Hub in the lobby. Don’t miss it!

America’s 250th Celebration Service, July 5!

Join us for a very special service on Sunday, July 5, as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday! We will honor the godly foundations upon which this nation was built and give thanks for the liberty we enjoy — liberty that was purchased at great cost and ultimately flows from the Author of freedom Himself. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” (Psalm 33:12) Plan now for this patriotic celebration service, and bring someone with you. It’s a Sunday you won’t want to miss!

Emerald Crossing Summer Kids Program

Grab your passport — we’re headed to Ireland! Kids in preschool–5th grade will journey through the Emerald Isle on Wednesday nights at 6:30, exploring Psalm 23 and the story of David, the shepherd-king. Along the way, they’ll meet the Good Shepherd and learn to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and onto the firm foundation of God’s Word. Join the adventure!

Parking Lot Update – Bear With Us This Week!

Good news — our parking lot is getting resealed and striped this week! Weather pushed the project past this Sunday, but work will be completed in the days ahead. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave to the Christmas Offering that made this improvement possible. Your generosity is making Cherry Street a better place to worship, serve, and welcome our community. We appreciate your patience as the work is completed. Details about access and parking during the project will be communicated as needed.

Prime Timers & Pickleball Cancelled This Tuesday

Just a heads up — because of the parking lot project, both Prime Timers and Pickleball are cancelled this Tuesday. But don’t worry, it won’t be long! Prime Timers will return on June 30 for a special Independence Day Edition — that’s going to be a great one! Pickleball will resume the following Tuesday as well. Thanks for your flexibility, and we look forward to seeing everyone back soon!

Pray for Our Teens – Camp Chautauqua Bound!

Our teens are heading out for Camp Chautauqua in Ohio this afternoon — June 15–19 — and they need your prayers! We are looking for 100 prayer partners to cover these students and leaders Andy Young and Jakob Lynn throughout the week. Pick up a prayer card at the table in the lobby this morning and commit to praying daily for our teens. Camp is a place where lives are changed and destinies are shaped. Let’s surround this week with prayer and believe God for great things!
