Welcome to CSBC!

Happy Father’s Day and welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re so glad you’re here. No matter how you found your way through our doors today — whether you’ve been coming for years or this is your first Sunday with us — we believe God is not done with any of us, and we’re grateful to worship alongside you. Our prayer is that you leave today encouraged, filled, and knowing you are truly wanted here. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Thankful for Dads

Happy Father’s Day! Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, and every man who has poured into someone’s life and pointed them toward the Lord. The influence of a godly man is one of the greatest gifts a person can receive, and we do not take that lightly. We are so glad you are here today — whether you came with family, were invited by someone who loves you, or walked through those doors on your own. As a small token of our appreciation, every man present today will receive a gift — our way of saying thank you for your faithfulness. We pray this morning is an encouragement to your heart and a reminder that what you do matters more than you know!

America’s 250th Celebration Service, July 5!

Mark your calendars — Sunday, July 5 is going to be a special one! As our nation celebrates 250 years, we will gather to give thanks for the godly foundations this country was built upon and the freedom we are so privileged to enjoy. True liberty is never free — it has been purchased at great cost, and ultimately it flows from the God who is its Author. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” (Psalm 33:12) Come ready to worship, come ready to celebrate, and bring someone with you. This is one Sunday you will not want to miss!

Emerald Crossing Summer Kids Program

Adventure awaits — and this one starts in Ireland! This summer, kids in preschool through 5th grade are embarking on an epic journey through the Emerald Isle every Wednesday night at 6:30. Through the breathtaking story of David, the shepherd-king, and the beloved words of Psalm 23, your kids will discover the Good Shepherd who leads, protects, and provides. They’ll cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and land on the firm and unshakeable foundation of God’s Word. This is more than a Bible lesson — it’s an adventure that could shape the way your child sees God for the rest of their life. Don’t let them miss it. Grab their passport and get them there!

Welcome Back, Teens! Great Week at Camp!

Our teens are back from Camp Chautauqua — and we believe God showed up in a big way! Please keep our students and leaders Andy Young and Jakob Lynn in your prayers as they return home. Decisions made at camp are just the beginning — the days and weeks that follow are critical. Pray that what God started this week takes deep root, that our teens walk boldly in their faith, and that the enemy does not steal what was planted. Camp is where lives are changed, but home is where those changes are lived out. Cover them in prayer!

No Evening Service Tonight

We will not have an evening service this Sunday, so enjoy your day and make the most of the time with the people you love! We hope you leave this morning encouraged and refreshed. We will return to our regular schedule this Wednesday night and look forward to seeing you back here soon!
