Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! What a joy it is to gather together as the family of God on this summer Sunday. We are so glad you are here — whether you have been walking with us for years or this is your very first visit. We believe God has a purpose in bringing you through these doors today, and our prayer is that you will leave having encountered Him in a real and personal way. May the worship, the Word, and the fellowship you experience today encourage your heart and strengthen your faith. We love you and we are glad you came! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Freedom Worth Celebrating

This coming Saturday, our nation marks 250 years since a group of men pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in pursuit of liberty. We pause to thank God for the freedom we enjoy — freedom that was purchased at tremendous cost by those who served and sacrificed. But as we celebrate, let us never forget that the deepest freedom of all is not found in any founding document. It is found at Calvary, where Jesus Christ broke the power of sin and death once for all. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17) Celebrate freely — and give thanks to the Author of every good gift!

America’s 250th Celebration Service, Next Sunday!

Don’t miss what is shaping up to be one of the most memorable Sunday mornings of the year! Next Sunday, July 5, we are coming together for a special America’s 250th Celebration Service — a time to honor our nation’s heritage, give glory to the God who blessed it, and lift our voices in worship. Expect an exciting music program and an inspiring message that will stir your heart and renew your gratitude. This is the perfect Sunday to bring a friend, a neighbor, or a family member who needs to be reminded that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” (Psalm 33:12). See you there!

Emerald Crossing Summer Kids Program

The adventure is already underway — and there is still time to join in! Every Wednesday night at 6:30, kids in preschool through 5th grade are exploring the Emerald Isle, journeying through the life of David and the timeless truths of Psalm 23. Week by week, they are discovering the Good Shepherd who leads them through fear, through worry, and onto the firm foundation of God’s Word. This is the kind of summer program that leaves a mark — one that shapes the way a child sees God for years to come. Do not let your kids miss another week. Grab their passport and get them there!

Teacher Training – Saturday July 18!

If you teach or are considering teaching at Cherry Street Baptist Church, mark this date now! We are hosting a Saturday morning teacher training designed to equip and encourage everyone who pours into the lives of others through God’s Word. Whether you are a seasoned teacher or just getting started, this is an investment in your ministry that will pay dividends in the lives of your students. Come ready to grow, be encouraged, and sharpen your skills for the Lord!
