Welcome to CSBC!

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re so glad you’re here today, whether you’ve called this church home for years or this is your very first Sunday with us. Church isn’t just a place we visit—it’s a family we belong to, gathered together around God’s Word and the hope we have in the Gospel. Our prayer is that you’ll encounter God in worship, find encouragement in fellowship, and leave today reminded that you are deeply loved by Him. We’re so glad you’re here this morning! Pray for Our Kenya Missions Team

Our missions team is now in Nairobi, Kenya, and we’re asking our whole church family to be in prayer! They’re serving alongside the Eberhards, the LeTourneaus, and Christine Enoch—laboring together in churches, orphanages, schools, and the Bible College. Pray for safe travel, good health, and open doors for the Gospel. Pray, too, that God would use this team to encourage our missionaries and strengthen the ministries they’ve given their lives to. What a privilege to partner in this work “to the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8)!

Sunday Night Splash – Family Service Tonight at 6:00

Join us in the auditorium for a fun, pool-themed family night! We’ll sing, laugh through a skit, enjoy splash-themed activities, and share popsicles outside afterwards — all while learning to give the Son daily exposure in our lives. Bring your favorite pool items (beach ball, noodle, goggles, float) for a scavenger hunt, if you’d like to participate — no actual water, just good times inside! Come ready to laugh and leave refreshed by time with Jesus.

Kids Day Camp – August 10-13

Today’s the day! Register now so your camper doesn’t miss out on a free t-shirt. Our K–5th graders are hitting the road with Jesus for a week they won’t forget — full of adventure, friendship, and faith! We’ve got water games, bowling at Enterprise Lanes, a trip to the Discovery Center, and a special day at Truth Traveler in Branson, plus crafts, snacks, and plenty of free time every single day. Cost is $55/person, and financial assistance is available — we don’t want that to hold anyone back! Don’t leave today without registering your camper. We can’t wait for a week of fun!

CSBC Night at the Cardinals – August 11

Mark your calendars—CSBC Night at the Springfield Cardinals is coming August 11! Bring the whole family for a fun night out together as a church, cheering on the Cardinals and enjoying great fellowship. Tickets are on sale now at the Info Hub in the lobby, so be sure to grab yours early. This is a great, low-key way to invite a neighbor, coworker, or friend who might not normally step through our church doors—so start thinking about who you could bring along!

Teens Silver Dollar City Trip – Friday, August 14!

Grades 6–12, this one’s for you! Join us Friday, August 14 for a full day at Silver Dollar City, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Choose the ticket option that works best for you: $47.50 per person for admission only (bring extra cash for snacks and souvenirs!) or add a meal voucher for $12.25 per person. Either way, don’t forget to bring some spending money for treats and souvenirs throughout the day. Drop off is at 8:00 AM at the gym, we’ll hit the road at 8:30 AM, and pick up will be back at the gym at 8:00 PM. Can’t wait for this one!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving.
