Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! We’re so glad you’ve joined us this morning, whether you’ve been part of this church family for years or you’re stepping through our doors for the first time. Being the church means more than showing up on a Sunday — it means belonging to a family bound together by God’s Word and the hope found in the Gospel. Welcome Home Kenya Missions Team

Our missions team is back home after an incredible trip to Kenya! They had a wonderful time serving, saw many saved, and are already excited to share what God did through their trip. Stay tuned for more details on when you’ll get to hear their stories firsthand — and join us in thanking God for a safe and fruitful journey!

A Taste of Christmas is Coming! Join the Adult Choir!

Mark your calendar for Friday, August 21! We’re kicking off the season with a potluck dinner and a first listen to this year’s Christmas musical — and we’re hoping YOU’ll be part of what comes next.

  • Hear a preview of the music
  • Meet the choir and see if it’s for you
  • Learn how to join — no experience or audition needed!

Whether you’ve sung your whole life or have never joined a choir before, this is the night to come find out what it’s all about. We’d love to have you be part of the story we’re telling this Christmas!

Kids Day Camp – August 10-13

It’s not too late to register! Our K–5th graders are hitting the road with Jesus for a week they won’t forget — full of adventure, friendship, and faith! We’ve got water games, bowling at Enterprise Lanes, a trip to the Discovery Center, and a special day at Truth Traveler in Branson, plus crafts, snacks, and plenty of free time every single day. Cost is $55/person, and financial assistance is available — we don’t want that to hold anyone back! Register your camper today — just know that t-shirts can no longer be guaranteed for late sign-ups. We can’t wait for a week of fun!

CSBC Night at the Cardinals – August 11

Mark your calendars—CSBC Night at the Springfield Cardinals is coming August 11! Bring the whole family for a fun night out together as a church, cheering on the Cardinals and enjoying great fellowship. Tickets are on sale now at the Info Hub in the lobby, so be sure to grab yours early. This is a great, low-key way to invite a neighbor, coworker, or friend who might not normally step through our church doors—so start thinking about who you could bring along!

Teens Silver Dollar City Trip – Friday, August 14!

Grades 6–12, this one’s for you! Join us Friday, August 14 for a full day at Silver Dollar City, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Choose the ticket option that works best for you: $47.50 per person for admission only (bring extra cash for snacks and souvenirs!) or add a meal voucher for $12.25 per person. Either way, don’t forget to bring some spending money for treats and souvenirs throughout the day. Drop off is at 8:00 AM at the gym, we’ll hit the road at 8:30 AM, and pick up will be back at the gym at 8:00 PM. Can’t wait for this one!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
