Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years or you’re joining us for the very first time today, we’re genuinely glad you’re here. Truth Trackers Registration Begins Today!

Get ready for a great year of Wednesday night kid’s discipleship! Truth Trackers, our children’s ministry, kicks off Wednesday, August 26, and registration begins today. We’re especially excited to welcome Matt Brown as our new Truth Trackers Director, and we can’t wait to see how God uses his leadership to help our kids grow in their faith. Truth Trackers is designed to help children know God’s Word and live it out through Bible study, Scripture memory, and hands-on fun. Stop by the Info Hub or register through Realm Connect today — let’s get your kids signed up before the first night!

A Taste of Christmas is Coming! Join the Sanctuary Choir!

Mark your calendar for Friday, August 21! This year’s Christmas musical dinner is all about one thing — inviting YOU to be part of the Sanctuary Choir. Come enjoy a potluck dinner, get a first listen to the music we’ll be singing this Christmas, and meet the choir up close. No experience or audition needed — just a willingness to come and see if this is where God wants you to serve this season! We believe the story we’re telling this Christmas needs your voice in it. Whether you’ve sung for years or never sung a note in public, we want you there Friday night finding out how you can be part of it.

Scotty Inman – Sunday, August 30

Mark your calendars! On Sunday morning, August 30, we’re honored to welcome songwriter and recording artist Scotty Inman for a special time of worship. Scotty’s music has blessed and encouraged believers across the country, and we’re looking forward to a service filled with rich, meaningful worship through song. Bring your family and invite a friend — this is a Sunday you won’t want to miss!

Praying For Our Students

School bells will be ringing again soon, with area students heading back to class on Tuesday, August 25! As our children and young people prepare for a new school year, let’s commit to lifting them up in prayer — for wisdom, for courage, for good friendships, and for opportunities to shine as a light for Christ among their classmates and teachers. Scripture reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Parents, grandparents, and church family — let’s surround our students with prayer as they begin this new season.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more!
