Welcome to CSBC!

It’s a joy to have you on this final Sunday of our “Neighbors & Nations” missions emphasis. Whether you’re visiting for the very first time or have been part of this family for decades, you are exactly who God had in mind when He sent His Son. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16). That love is the heartbeat behind everything we do, from our own neighborhood to the far corners of the earth. Our prayer is that you’ll experience that love personally and discover the life-changing hope found in Jesus Christ. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

How’s Your Faith?

Today is Faith Promise Commitment Sunday, the day we prayerfully ask God what He would have us give toward missions in the year ahead. A faith promise isn’t based on what we can see in our bank account, but on trusting God to provide through us. “But without faith it is impossible to please him” (Hebrews 11:6). That question, “How’s your faith?”, will carry us right into October, as we spend the month focusing on understanding, strengthening, and living out our faith. Whether your faith feels strong today or needs some encouragement, we hope you’ll join us for this October journey. Let’s continue to build our faith together in the days to come!

Welcome Home, Metzger Family

We’re thrilled to welcome Ben and Rachelle and their children, Lucas, Alenna, and Nico, back home to Cherry Street! More than a decade ago, our church sent this family to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and God has used them to plant a church and reach many with the Gospel. Like Paul and Barnabas returning to Antioch, they have come to “rehearse all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith” (Acts 14:27). Today they’ll share about their ministry as we close our “Neighbors & Nations” emphasis. Be sure to greet them and let them know how glad we are to have them home!

Final Boarding Call: Missions Dinner Tonight at 6:00!

Tonight’s Missions Dinner at 6:00 PM will take the place of our regular Family Service. Be sure to sign up at the Info Hub in the lobby after the service! This special final-night dinner is our chance to celebrate “Neighbors & Nations” as we take a closer look at our Sent Teams ministry. You’ll discover practical ways to support and encourage the missionaries God has sent out from Cherry Street, including families like the Metzgers. The dinner is free, but we need to know you’re coming so we can prepare. Don’t miss this chance to “take flight” together as we hold the ropes for those carrying the Gospel to the nations!

Trunk or Treat: Five Weeks Away!

Trunk or Treat is coming Saturday, October 31, from 4–6 PM, and it’s one of the best opportunities all year to open our doors to families in our community. Hundreds of children and parents will come looking for candy, and we want them to find a church family that loves them and a Savior who gave His life for them. “Let your light so shine before men” (Matthew 5:16). We still need volunteers to host trunks, help with setup, and serve in a variety of ways. See Trisa Wetzel or Jason Lange to sign up today, and let’s make it a night that points our neighbors to Christ!

Prime Timers on Tuesday

Calling all Prime Timers, 55 and up (or young at heart)! Join us for a morning of fun, fellowship, and great food. Sign up on the Info Hub, and don’t forget to bring a friend!
