The Parables of Jesus
February 25, 2024 - March 17, 2024
The Parables of Jesus, are more than just cute anecdotes. They contain profound truths that have the power to shape how we see the world and live our lives. Through these Parables, Jesus gives us insight into how God's Kingdom - His vision for humanity - takes root and spreads. What starts small can eventually impact everything around it in amazing ways. But the Parables don't just describe the Kingdom, they reveal the human heart in striking ways. They expose our shortcomings, doubts, and misplaced priorities with brutal honesty. Yet they don't just leave us in our brokenness. The Parables beckon us to change, to hit the reset button on our lives. They're a wake-up call to stop sleepwalking through life and to start living with purpose according to God's ways. Jesus uses common, everyday examples to shake us out of complacency. As we unpack these stories together, I believe we'll experience fresh perspectives and be equipped to apply their lessons in practical ways. We'll be challenged, encouraged, and invited to respond - not just to know more, but to be and do more with our lives. So get ready! This is going to be a journey that I'm convinced will deepen our understanding of Christ's teachings and spur us on to live them out more authentically. Let's dive in together with open minds and hearts!
