Welcome to CSBC!

What a great day to be in the house of the Lord! We’re so glad you’re here — whether you’ve been part of church family for years or you’re walking through our doors for the very first time. God is at work at Cherry Street, and we believe He has brought you here today for a reason. Our prayer is that you’ll experience His presence in a real and personal way through worship, through the Word, and through the warmth of the people around you. Lives are being changed by the grace of God, and we’d love for yours to be one of them. Welcome home! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Welcome Steve & Cheryl Harney – Cool Kids Ministries

We are thrilled to welcome Steve and Cheryl Harney from Cool Kids Ministries of Somerset, Kentucky! Steve will be bringing our message this morning, and this week Steve and Cheryl will be leading our Vacation Bible School. Cool Kids Ministries has a heart for reaching children with the Gospel, and we are grateful God has brought them our way. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and make them feel right at home. We know this will be a tremendous week for the kids and families of Cherry Street and our community!

Kidz Storm VBS Begins Tonight!

Our “Out of This World” Vacation Bible School blasts off TONIGHT and runs through Wednesday evening! Each night runs from 6:30–8:00 PM — please note that tonight’s start time is 6:30, not our usual Sunday evening hour. Kids ages 3 through high school are invited to join us for this out-of-this-world adventure as we explore God’s Word together. If you have children, grandchildren, neighbors, or friends who would love to be part of VBS, bring them along! You can register in the lobby today before you leave. This is also a wonderful opportunity for adults who find themselves with some extra time this week to volunteer— we’d love your help!

VBS Dinner – Free for Kids, Families

Want to make the most of VBS week? Join us for dinner before each evening’s program! A free dinner will be served nightly at 5:30 PM for children, their families, and our VBS workers. There is no cost — it’s our way of making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to be here. Registration for the dinners is required, so please scan the VBS Dinner QR code located on the VBS registration table in the lobby or click the link below! Don’t miss this great chance to connect with other families and fuel up before a great night of ministry together!

Prime Timers VBS – Tuesday Morning at 10:30

Prime Timers are joining the “Out of This World” fun this Tuesday morning at 10:30 — our regular meeting time — with a special Vacation Bible School themed gathering! It’s a great opportunity to celebrate what God is doing through VBS this week and enjoy some of that same spirit of fun and fellowship. If you’re a Prime Timer, plan to be there. And if you’ve been thinking about checking out Prime Timers, this is a great week to come for the first time!

Men’s Breakfast – Saturday, June 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Men, mark your calendars! We’re gathering for a Men’s Breakfast at the Pavilion on Saturday, June 20, at 9:00 AM — the morning before Father’s Day. This is a great chance to connect with your brothers in Christ, enjoy a good meal together, and be encouraged heading into Father’s Day weekend. Whether you’re a dad, a son, or just a man who loves breakfast and good fellowship, you’re invited! More details to come — stay tuned and plan to be there!

Youth Campers Leave in Two Weeks. Thank You!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items, worked the sale, and shopped to support our students heading to Youth Camp! Your generosity made a difference — the garage sale raised thousands of dollars to help our young people attend camp this summer. Campers leave June 14 for Camp Chautauqua in Ohio, and there is still room for more! If you have a student who would like to go, don’t wait — see Andy Young or Jakob Lynn for details. We can’t wait to see what God does in the lives of our students this summer!
